Enjoy Nittany Lion Inn in State College for a Tea Buffet including a variety of sweet and savory nibbles plus hot tea, of course. This historic site is a Penn State tradition with a casual elegance, the perfect setting for a Tea!

A sample menu* in the past has included: ginger and wild rice salad in phyllo cups, smoked salmon and egg salad double decker tea sandwich, tomato and mozzarella caprese cups with pesto, artichoke and spinach tea sandwich, assorted mini scones, clotted cream, lemon curd and strawberry jam plus an assortment of petite desserts.
*Please note the menu changes often and specifics are not finalized until the tour date.

1:15 pm-2:45 pm

Guided Walking Tour of Penn State Arboretum including the H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens. The Arboretum at Penn State strives to be a place of beauty and renewal, a venue for the arts, and a pathway to discovery and enrichment. The H.O. Smith Botanic Gardens feature a number of evergreen conifers that lend beauty to the winter landscape. Most of these are members of the pine and cypress families (Pinaceae and Cupressaceae, respectively) which retain their needle- or scale-like leaves throughout the cold winter months.

3:00-3:45 pm

Visit the Berkey Creamery located on the campus of Penn State University. It is the largest university creamery in the United States, using approximately 4.5 million pounds of milk annually, and selling 750,000 hand-dipped ice cream cones per year. There are over 100 flavors to choose from. Enjoy an ice cream treat, on own.
