Formerly titled "Christmas in West Virginia". It is however set in the western mountains of Maryland.

-Tour the Cumberland's Hotel Gunter with their lovely ballroom staircase

-Tour St Paul's Lutheran Chrurch with its unique pastel stained glass windows

DAY 1 - SUNDAY

- Travel southwesterly through Pennsylvania into northwestern Maryland
- Lodging: LaVale, Maryland. Continue on to Cumberland, Maryland
- Light Lunch followed by a Christmas Sing-Along, included, at the Cumberland Country Club
- Experience a Christmas Dessert Tea, included, and tour of the Victorian Gordon-Roberts House
- Christmas Dinner, included, enjoyed amongst the fine art at the C. William Gilchrist Gallery, plus a visit from Laura Ingalls Wilder who relates the tales of her life on the prairie especially during Christmas time

DAY 2 - MONDAY

- Breakfast, included, at the Inn
- Visit the Toll Gate House on the National Highway built in 1836, where the Gate Keeper and his family, lived, worked, ate and collected tolls
- Tour Emmanuel Episcopal Church with its Louis Comfort Tiffany windows and the subterranean tunnels used as a station on the Underground Railroad. A brief concert of sacred music is preceded by Lunch, included.
- On to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with its astonishing pastel stained glass windows showing Maryland's history
- Early Evening Return: 7:00 p.m.
