REVISED ITINERARY

The Cape Cod Railroad is no longer running on the dates of our visit. We have changed the last two days of the tour by travelling to Connecticut. Ride the historic1892 Essex Steam Train then set sail on the Becky Thatcher Riverboat. On the last day, tour the country home, Lockwood-Mathews Mansion, in Norwalk.

Day 1

- Travel to Connecticut's Mystic Seaport, a recreated 19th-century seafaring village
- 2 nights Lodging: Boston suburb
- Dinner, included, at a local restaurant

Day 2

- Continental Breakfast, included, at hotel
- Let your Guide refresh your early American history on a City Tour including Paul Revere's House
- Tour the historic Old North Church, Boston Common, Beacon Hill, and Old Statehouse
- See the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned warship
- Visit the cobblestoned marketplace of Quincy Market
- Dinner, included, at a local restaurant

- Head off on the Amtrak Downeaster train to Maine
- Once in Maine, your Guide takes you on a driving tour along the coastal villages of Kennebunk and Kennebunkport

- Photo stop at Nubble Lighthouse then a classic Downeast Lobsterbake Dinner, included

- Arrive in New Hampshire for a ride aboard the Conway Scenic Railway through spectacular Crawford Notch --past sheer bluffs, steep ravines and cascading brooks

- Dinner, included, at a local restaurant

- Jump on the M/S Mount Washington for a one-way sailing across Lake Winnipesaukee
- Visit the Wright Museum of WWII with its aircrafts, tanks and everyday life exhibits
- Head off on the Winnipesaukee Railroad along the Lake while enjoying Harts Hot Roast Turkey Dinner, included

- Travel directly south through Massachusetts to the heritage railway, Essex Train, founded in 1868
- Then set sail on the Riverboat Becky Thatcher
